Renato

Meet Renato a dynamic kid with a heart of gold.  Renato was born in June of 1995 and is of Latino descent.  Renato loves video games, swimming, drawing and saving money.  This kid is musically inclined with a great love of rap, pop, and jazz.  Unlike most kids, Renato enjoys school and does fairly well in the school setting.  He is a wonderful child with great charisma.  Renato is playful, active, responsive and fun loving.  His favorite foods include carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, chicken and beef. But he dislikes salad dressing and peas.  Renato is benefitting from counseling services to help address interpersonal issues.

Maria

Maria is a Miracle little girl!  Born at only 28 weeks gestation, who would have thought she would be so beautiful, happy, and animated. She enjoys company and is waiting for her special family to engage her and play with her. Maria is of Latino descent and she was born in 2004. She is very petite for her age because she was born so premature. However, her size doesn’t get in the way of this social butterfly because she warms your soul with her cute little smile and large dark eyes.

Pretty in pink is our Kristion!  She is such a cute little girl that your heart will melt when she first smiles at you. This little one is determined to live her life to its fullest. Kristion is an African -American gift born in December of 2000. She enjoys people, company, and attention. Listening to classical music is one of her favorite pastimes and she thrives when she is being read to. Kristion smiles and coos with you when being talked to.

Juan

Meet Juan, he is a one-of a kind child in need of a permanent home. Juan was born December of 1995 and is of Latino decent. Juan is enthusiastic, spontaneous and so fun to be around! He needs to be watched with his food intake sometimes because he likes to eat fast. Juan does say though, that he doesn’t really like spinach. Juan loves positive feedback and he will do whatever it takes to please you and have a happy relationship with you. He is such an affectionate little boy that you will be hugged and kissed beyond your expectations.

Juanito

Look at those big brown eyes! “Juanito" is a name of endearment for this little guy. This fellow is so sweet and gentle that he gives you attention when you are feeling down.  He is growing and making good progress in his home.  He loves plushed toys and stuffed animals.  He really also enjoys alone time, mostly he enjoys playing by himself.  He is of Latino descent and was born in June of 2000.  Juanito has a very healthy appetite and he absolutely loves pizza! He is able to engage somewhat but really does his best around adult supervision and structure and a steady routine.  He is working on staying potty trained although he needs to be constantly reminded to use the bathroom.

Your Partner

DCFS partners with you by providing adoption preparation, training and home studies for residents of Los Angeles County. Home studies completed by other licensed adoption agencies are also accepted for possible placement of children.

The Adoption Assistance Program, which provides financial aid to parents for adopted children is available, as well as the State's medical insurance, Medi-Cal.
